Will Oregon, Auburn meet in 2011 BCS Championship?

November 10, 2010

The college football season is winding down with just a few weeks left to go before we find out the BCS Championship selection. As the BCS standings stand right now, it would be the high-flying Oregon Ducks out of the PAC-10 taking on the Auburn Tigers and quarterback Cam Newton of the SEC. With a few big games left on the schedule for both teams, including the Iron Bowl against Alabama, this matchup is not certain. Auburn is also facing some tough questions regarding the scouting of Cam Newton. But both of these teams have been on fire, and if they win out they will most likely meet. Those wacky BCS computers, not to mention the polls, can do all kinds of things, but for now it looks like Auburn Oregon BCS Game prediction is a solid bet. You can imagine BCS Championship tickets would be really big if these guys meet. Auburn has some of the craziest fans out there, and Oregon football fans are likewise eager to see their team be the best in the country. With the BCS Game game going down at Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, fans are ready to check out the fun.

If either Oregon or Auburn were to falter, the BCS selection system would get perhaps the most scrutiny it ever has. That’s because both the Boise State Broncos and the TCU Horned Frogs are ranked #3 and #4, so they would be in place to get into the BCS Game. However, both these teams come from non-automatically qualifying conferences, so perhaps the BCS conspiracy will keep them out. We’ll see what happens on selection Sunday, but this is going to be a really big day. Other teams with outside chances of playing in the 2011 BCS Championship Game include the LSU Tigers, Stanford Cardinals and the Wisconsin Badgers. Get in on the fun and check out the BCS Championship tickets for all the action live and in person.
